On 4 September 2008 the Administrative Decisions Tribunal made the following orders and findings:
- three findings of unsatisfactory professional conduct in respect of the drafting of three separate pleadings, being cross-claims in proceedings conducted in the District Court of NSW;
- an order that the respondent be reprimanded pursuant to s562(2)(e) of the Legal Profession Act 2004;
- an order that the respondent undertake an successfully complete the course on drafting pleadings, defences and cross-claims conducted by the Bar Association of NSW in the October 2008 Bar Practice Course;
- an order that the decision of the Tribunal be published; and
- an order that the respondent pay the costs of the applicant in the proceedings.
Gregory Castle Jones consented to the findings and orders above on the basis of the facts in the Instrument of Consent and the Statement of Facts filed as set out in the judgment.
