On 17 June 2008, the Court of Appeal made declarations and orders that:

1. Patrick Power is guilty of professional misconduct,
   
   
2. Patrick Power is not a fit and proper person to remain on the Roll of Legal Practitioners,
   
   
3. the name of Patrick Power be removed from the Roll of Legal Practitioners,
   
   
4. Patrick Power pay the costs of the proceedings.
   

Patrick Power consented to declarations and orders 1 to 3 above on the basis of the facts in the Agreed Statement of Facts as set out in the judgment.
