On 5 September 2007 the Legal Services Division of the Administrative Decisions Tribunal handed down its findings with respect to a disciplinary application filed in respect of David Keith Louis Raphael.

The Tribunal found David Keith Louis Raphael guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct in negotiating a settlement agreement which had the tendency to impair the Tribunal’s capacity to do justice in (separate) disciplinary proceedings involving a solicitor, Raphael’s client.

On 7 January 2008 the Tribunal handed down its decision on penalty.  The Tribunal ordered that David Keith Louis Raphael be reprimanded and that he pay the Bar Council’s costs as agreed or assessed.
